Eorodale

Page history last edited by PBworks 16 years, 9 months ago

Eorodale is a small village in the northeast of Ness.

It has 3 wells - Tobair Iain Fhionnlaigh, Tobair Choinnich Riabhaich and Tobair Ealasaid. These springs and the Adabrock well are mainly fed from the same source.  They lie more or less in a line from the south end of Eorodale to the west end of Port village.  (Criomagan Issue 5 1998)

Eorodale once had 2 shops. Buth a' Bheiceir - John MacDonald - Pre 1900. This was a small grocers and also a bakery and Buth Alasdair Tharmoid Bhuidhe - Alexander MacDonald. Small grocer-shed at west end of existing house. (Criomagan March/April 1996)
